Houdini

Houdini was a special little character. He was a ball of energy who would take everything and hide them on us. Looking back, those little frustrations are the character we enjoyed every day. We love you Houdini and miss you terribly...

Prissy

We found our little girl crouching on a concrete floor in our local dog pound. She had a large growth about ten inches in diameter that dragged the ground when she tried to walk with her little legs. She had been there only one day when we found her. She lived with one lady her whole life, but the elderly woman had to move in with her daughter and Prissy could not go with her. So after 12 years with one person, she found herself alone, on cold concrete with a serious medical condition. We adopted this precious little girl and did our best to make her last three years happy and full. Fortunately, her growth was only a hernia that was removed and she leaped through the grass like a puppy. She felt good! Even though Prissy was only with us a few short years, we miss her terribly and know she is waiting in the sunny green fields across the Rainbow Bridge. We love miss you sweetheart.

Chaka

Pugzelle and Biscuit (the African Pugs) wanted to make this tribute to their wonderful German Shepherd brother named Chaka (named AFTER Zulu King "Chaka" of South Africa).  Always protective of us (Pugzelle shown in the photo below), always tolerant of us pulling his tail and always gentle and kind to us.  As you can, see we had a special place from which to view the yard!!  A very safe place!  Chaka, we will always miss you ..... until one day we are re-united in the happy meadows of dog paradise where we will romp and roam again, forever young!   Chaka, the brave one, just as his namesake the Zulu king also was!

Lil Kitty Ambrose

I just came in from burying my Little Kitty...

He passed over to the Rainbow Bridge around 3:00 a.m. this morning ... He had not been feeling well, in fact, we took him to the vet just over a month ago, and they ran tests that said everything appeared okay, except that his liver counts were way low.  Little Kitty appeared to be feeling better and back to eating normally, but after about an hour of seizures he went to be with Milo ... David and I petted and talked to him the whole time ... who knows, but his last breath was a purr, so I think he was content.  I am very sad, but happy that he is at peace and not suffering.  Thought all of you, some of his biggest fans, would just want to know :-)

Whitaker's Sassy Suzi

We are never prepared for the passing of our beloved little friends. They have brightened our life for countless hours, days, and years. They run to greet us with all the excitement they can muster and are the perfect end to every day... It is especially difficult when you must decide between "quality" and "life". I am still not sure helping my little Suzi cross the bridge was the best thing, but I guess that is only the sad and longing part of my soul that refuses to let go. Rest well my sweet...

Whitaker's Mad Maximillion

This page stands as a tribute to our bright-eyed little boy, Max.  He was always a joy to be around.  His energy was contagious and we love him very much.  He went to the Rainbow Bridge on June 3rd, 1996 and I know he is playing and waiting for the day when we join him.  He was loved without end in life and lives in our dreams for eternity.
